Meet Katherine.

Katherine or Kat, is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a certified practitioner in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). She combines evidence-based therapies with a compassionate, client-centred approach, tailoring treatment to each individual's unique experiences and goals.

Katherine supports adolescents, adults, and couples navigating a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, addiction-related behaviours, and relationship challenges. She also has a special interest in women's mental health, helping clients through experiences such as fertility struggles, perinatal mental health, and hormone-related mood changes.

In addition, Katherine is passionate about performance psychology, working with athletes, students, and professionals to strengthen focus, build confidence, manage pressure, and perform at their highest potential while maintaining emotional well-being. When working with couples, she incorporates the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners improve communication, navigate conflict, and deepen emotional connection.

Through collaborative goal-setting and personalized strategies, Katherine helps clients build resilience, discover their strengths, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

“I want to help people strengthen both their mental well-being and personal potential through compassionate, evidence-based care. Whether overcoming challenges or pursuing personal growth, I'm committed to supporting each client with empathy, respect, and practical strategies.”

Rooted in Purpose

Katherine earned her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is committed to lifelong learning through ongoing professional development. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, drawing primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

She believes meaningful therapy begins with creating a safe, respectful, and supportive space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. Recognizing that every person's story is unique, Katherine tailors her approach to meet each client's individual needs, empowering them to navigate life's challenges with self-compassion, practical tools, and lasting resilience.

For Katherine, therapy is about more than reducing symptoms—it's about helping people reconnect with themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful, sustainable change that extends beyond the therapy room.
