Bonnie is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria, and a Child and Youth Counselling Diploma from Mount Royal University.

In her counselling practice, Bonnie fosters a safe and judgment-free space where individuals are encouraged to be authentically themselves. She is dedicated to creating a collaborative environment that allows her to walk alongside clients on their unique journeys.

Bonnie adopts a holistic approach to therapy, offering person-centred, affirming therapy often drawing from cognitive behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Providing counselling services to teens (12+), adults, and families, Bonnie specializes in areas such as:

  • Healthy relationships (sex-positive, kink aware, and poly(am) aware)

  • Educational challenges

  • LGBTQ2S+ affirming therapy

With an experience spanning over 20 years, Bonnie has been committed to providing support to youth and families in various capacities. Over the past decade, her focus has been dedicated to supporting students and families navigate the intricacies of the education system. During her master's program, Bonnie gained experience at Skipping Stone, cultivating her skills in creating a gender-affirming space. Beyond her professional role, Bonnie is a single parent, raising four teenage and young adult men.
