  • We are looking for a Naturopathic Doctor to join the Maliya Wellness Centre for Women, Teens and Children in the beautiful Town of Cochrane, AB.

    Come join our team of collaborative care practitioners who are providing the foundation for women, teens, and children to be supported along their paths towards well-being.

    We're searching for an individual deeply compassionate, caring, and committed to women's health, excelling in exceptional client care. Driven by a strong desire to make a positive impact within their community, they should also demonstrate a passion for collaborative work with others.

    We offer convenient online booking and direct billing. Your independent contractor commission is paid bi-monthly via direct deposit. We supply all linens, massage tables, marketing and social media, on-site laundry and reception, as well as access to collaboration with other practitioners including chiropractors, massage therapists, dieticians, acupuncturists, osteopaths, psychologists, hypnotherapists, nurse practitioners, and more.

    A successful candidate will have the following:

    • Being able to work in-person, or as the client requires.

    • Be registered with the regulatory body in our province. Individual insurance and liability are required.

    • Committed to at least 15-25 hours of client work per week.

    • Willingness to work at least one evening and/or Saturday per week.

    • Ability to participate in staff meetings one Friday per month at 12:30pm.

    • Desire to collaborate with other practitioners for client care.

  • We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and heart-centred Holistic Aesthetician to join the Maliya Wellness Centre for Women, Teens and Children in the beautiful Town of Cochrane.

    Maliya is an integrative and collaborative wellness centre focused on supporting the wellness of women, teens, and children across mind, body, and soul. We're looking to add a Holistic Aesthetician to our team who shares in the values of collaboration and holistic wellness and who wants to be part of a supportive and loving work environment.

    We offer convenient online booking and direct billing for clients. Your independent contractor commission is paid bi-monthly via direct deposit. We supply beautiful practitioner rooms with hydraulic aesthetic tables, towel warmers, sink and storage, marketing and social media, on-site laundry and reception. Access to collaboration with other practitioners including chiropractors, acupuncturists, osteopathic therapists, psychologists, and more.

    A successful candidate will have the following:

    -Individual insurance and liability are required.

    -Practicing 1 year preferred

    -Ability to attend 12:30pm staff meetings virtually or in person the 2nd Friday of every month.

    -Updated CPR certificate

    -Willingness to contribute to marketing on social media

    Duties:

    - Perform a variety of holistic facials and supply your own natural products

    - Provide personalized skincare consultations and recommend appropriate products

    - Conduct skin analysis and develop customized treatment plans

    - Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment

    - Upsell retail products and promote additional services

    Experience:

    - Proven experience as a Holistic Aesthetician

    - Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatments

    - Excellent communication and customer service skills

    - Ability to educate clients on proper skincare routines and product usage

    - Experience in retail sales is a plus

    - Familiarity with sanitation and hygiene standards

We're looking to add a Clinical Hypnotherapist to our team who shares in the values of collaboration and holistic wellness and who wants to be part of a supportive and loving work environment.

As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, you will work with clients to help them overcome various challenges and improve their overall well-being. Your role will involve utilizing hypnosis techniques to assist patients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

    Responsibilities:

    - Conduct initial assessments and consultations with patients to determine their needs and goals

    - Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient requirements

    - Utilize hypnosis techniques to induce a relaxed state and access the subconscious mind

    - Guide patients through therapeutic sessions to address specific issues or conditions

    - Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment progress and make necessary adjustments

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients

    - Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

    - Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in hypnotherapy

    Skills:

    - Strong knowledge of hypnosis techniques and principles

    - Proficiency in data collection and case management

    - Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable

    - Familiarity with special education practices and techniques

    - Excellent research skills to stay informed about new developments in the field

    - Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health and psychology

    - Ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical setting

    - Experience working with children is preferred

    - Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient care

  • We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join the Maliya Wellness Centre in the beautiful Town of Cochrane, Alberta. We are an integrative wellness centre created for women, teens & children who are craving relief, support, healing, and connection.

    A successful candidate will perform the following:

    • Support for women with bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and women's health is primary focus.

    • Comprehensive health assessments.

    • Enthusiastically working in a collaborative team environment with other holistic practitioners.

    • Excellent bedside manner where care and support is your number-one priority.

    • Utilization of the Jane EMR system for client documentation.

    • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies.

    • Make referrals necessary to address patients' healthcare needs effectively.

    A successful candidate will have the following:

    • Registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Current Registration with Netcare.

    • Updated CPR Certification.

    • Individual insurance and liability.

    • Commitment to attending monthly staff meetings virtually or in-person.

    • Working virtually or in-person as desired.
