Current Opportunities

  • Job description:

    About Maliya
Maliya Wellness Centre is a supportive, integrative health space in Cochrane dedicated to the well-being of women, teens, and children. Our team of collaborative care practitioners provides personalized, holistic care in a warm, welcoming environment.

    The Role
We’re seeking a hands-on, holistic Physiotherapist who focuses on gentle movement, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation—not equipment-heavy rehab. You’ll help clients manage pain, fatigue, and injury through one-on-one sessions that support awareness, pacing, and functional movement.

Each session is one hour in a private room, giving you the time and space to work closely with clients and tailor care to their unique needs. Your approach will help retrain the body and brain to move with greater ease and confidence—fostering long-term well-being, not quick fixes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform in-depth assessments and create individualized treatment plans

    • Use manual therapy, breathwork, and mindful movement to support recovery

    • Teach pacing, body awareness, and gentle functional activity integration

    • Track progress and adapt care plans as needed

    • Collaborate with a team of like-minded, client-focused practitioners

    • Maintain clear, accurate clinical notes

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Physiotherapy and current Alberta registration

    • Liability Insurance and current CPR certificate

    • Experience or interest in holistic, nervous-system-informed care

    • Strong hands-on clinical skills; minimal reliance on equipment

    • Warm, compassionate communication and collaborative spirit

    Why Join Maliya?

    • One-hour, private sessions—no rush, no overwhelm

    • Calm, supportive space with a whole-person approach

    • A team that values presence, compassion, and client-centered care

Ready to support healing in a meaningful way?
Apply now and become part of our growing wellness community.

    Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: 18-30 hours per week Monday to Friday, Daytime and evening hours available.
