TCM looks at emotions, diet, lifestyle and the environment to see where dysfunction may be coming from and to get to the root of a problem and is supported through acupuncture and herbal medicine.

    Acupuncture is the stimulation of certain points with very thin, sterile needles to circulate blood, nutrients and energy throughout the body. It restores balance and harmony while stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system to foster a safe healing environment.

Marinela is a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture who practices Chinese Medicine within the scope of what this type of alternative care can offer. She has over ten years of experience as a clinician and an educator. After her personal experience with alternative healthcare practices she decided to pursue a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Her experience in benefiting from this type of care had led her to value, more deeply, the art of assisting clients with their wellness needs.

She was trained in using modalities such as; acupuncture, acupressure and tuina, fire cupping, electro acupuncture, sound therapy- Acutonics and traditional herbal formulas. Over the past three years she has been fortunate to have the opportunity to address and practice different areas of concern for her clients: connective and muscle tissue related injuries, skin care and facial rejuvenation techniques, women’s health pre and post menopause, mental and emotional well-being, amongst other health concerns, within the scope of her modalities.

She is passionate about sharing her acquired knowledge and experience in this field, while she remains interested in her own growth with additional trainings that can add value to her treatments and benefit her clients.
